The Farmers Cooperative invests in our area by paying out $ 9.2 Million Dollars in Property taxes to local county treasurers, over the last 5 years. This supports public schools, county governments, and other local essential services.

 

 


Fire Departments
The Farmers Cooperative invests in our local fire and rescue departments that serve our trade area. These departments are a very important part of our rural life because they protect all of us. We welcome the opportunity to support training at our facilities and provide financial assistance.

 

 

 

 


Hunger Programs
Through the Farmers Cooperative Hunger Program, we invest in our local communities by providing funds for local food banks and school backpack programs. Farmers Cooperative supports 15 Food Banks in Southeast Nebraska and Northeast Kansas. Farmers Cooperative is a proud to support those in need.

Facilities
Over the past 5 years, the Farmers Cooperative Invest in our Producers by paying out $77.5 Million Dollars in Capital Investments for Facilities to better serve patrons. This allows us to get you back to the field at harvest, increase storage, and have the products when you need them.

 


Quality Employees
The Farmers Cooperative invests in our owners by providing highly skilled and trained employees to serve you. These employees work hard to help make your operation successful. The Farmers Cooperative provides employee training programs so we can provide better service.

 


Advocate for Agriculture
Today’s population is 2 to 3 generations removed from farming. The Farmers Cooperative is invested in telling the true story of Agriculture. We have partnered with organizations such things as AFAN, Livestock Associations, Pork Producers, Soybean Boards, Wheat Boards, Corn Boards, and Foreign Trade Missions. We are involved in educating all about Agriculture with projects such as Career Days, Ag in the Classroom, Educational Field trips, and the University Mandala-Washington Program.

Equipment & Technology
Over the past 5 years, the Farmers Cooperative Invests in you by paying out $46 Million Dollars in Capital Investments for Equipment and technology. This allows us to better serve you our Owners’.

 

 


Boosting Local Economies
The Farmers Cooperative invests in our local economies by providing job income in our trade area and has paid out $ 163 Million Dollars in wages and benefits over the past 5 years. These are local jobs right here in Southeast Nebraska and Northeast Kansas.

 

 


Agricultural Youth
The Farmers Cooperative invests in our Agricultural Youth through our involvement with FFA, and 4-H programs, as well as local County Fairs. The Farmers Cooperative offers a scholarship for graduating Seniors. We support youth Farm Safety Camps and Day on the Farm events. We believe these programs are important because young people represent our future patrons, employees, and local leaders.
