Propane Policies and Programs
Farmers Cooperative Propane Customer Delivery Policies

Safety will always be our #1 priority, including tank installations, regulators, and piping. Drivers will have the authority to refuse delivery to any and all unsafe installations.

Routed Program: Your tank will be filled on an as needed basis. Your usage will dictate how often and when your tank will be filled. Routed customers will be billed at $.10 per gallon under the daily Call-In price. You must have a charge account in good standing to be on the Routed program, and customer must have capability of taking a 250 gallon minimum delivery.

Budget-Pay Program: The Budget Pay Program begins June 1 st of each year, and ends on April 30th of the following year. The estimated cost of your propane purchases for the year will be divided into 11 equal payments. Because of variations in cost and usage, we reserve the right to adjust monthly payments if necessary. Any shortages must be paid in full by the end of each May. Overpayments will be credited towards the next year’s budget plan, or participant may request a check for the overpayment amount. Propane will be delivered on a Routed Program basis.

Call-In Program: Customer is responsible for ordering all propane deliveries. Call In orders require a minimum of a three (3) business day notice. Business hours are Monday thru Friday from 7:30 to 5:00, and Saturdays from 7:30 to 12:00, with the exception of holidays. Deliveries for Call-In orders will be made during these hours only. Orders without a three business day notice will incur a $75.00 fee. Call in orders will be a minimum of 250 gallons. Orders of less than 250 gallons will incur a $50.00 fee. Call-In policies do not apply to Routed, irrigation, or grain drying deliveries.

Out of Gas Calls: Out of gas calls require a leak test to be done before the system is put back into service. Out of gas calls will incur a $75.00 fee for the leak test. This fee is in addition to any other charges that may apply. No system will be put back into service until it is proven to be gas tight and free of leaks. A responsible adult that resides at the location must be present to allow our drivers to put system back into service following a successful leak test. Routed, irrigation, and grain drying customers are not subject to any out of gas charges.

Tanks 250 gallon or smaller: Tanks that are 250 gallon capacity or smaller will be subject to a $50.00 delivery fee

Customer is required to notify Farmers Cooperative of any interruption of service from the tank to the house. Interruptions of service may include but are not limited to; out of gas situations; new lines; new gas appliances; and removal of gas lines or appliances.
