Farmers Cooperative Supports Frankfort Fire Department

The Farmers Cooperative is proud to support our local
communities, especially the Emergency Services and staff
that support our branches across Kansas and Nebraska. The
Farmers Cooperative and Land O’Lakes have partnered to
present the Frankfort Kansas Fire Department a check for
the amount of $2,000 for their purchase of a new rescue
truck.

Farmers Cooperative Branch Manager, Jeff Polson
presented Fire Chief Paul Tommer and the Frankfort Fire
Department a check towards the purchase of their new
rescue truck, during their meeting on October 4, 2017.
The Frankfort Fire Department currently has 36 volunteer
firemen. “It is wonderful that we are able to help support
our local fire department. They are always there when
we need them, and with this donation, we are continuing
to build a strong relationship with the fire department, an
essential part of our community,” stated Jeff Polson.

“We want to thank the Farmers Cooperative for their
generous donation and for choosing Frankfort for their
new facilities. The Farmers Cooperative is having a
very positive impact on the surrounding area, and we
look forward to working with them in the future. We just
hope it’s not in an emergency situation.” declared Chief
Tommer. The Farmers Cooperative continues to look
for opportunities to help both our local communities and
the residents that reside in them, and we look forward to
working them in the future.
