Scholarships

2024 Scholarships

Farmers Cooperative will award scholarships, up to $1,000, to high school graduating seniors, enrolling in college as a full-time student. Preference will be given to students majoring in an agriculture-related field, but all are encouraged to apply.

To be eligible for this scholarship, students must:

  • Be a student of a Farmers Cooperative member or employee
  • Be a high school senior, graduating in the spring of 2024
  • Enroll in a college as a full-time student for the fall 2024 semester
  • Complete online application fully, including uploading professional head shot and essay

The application period for 2024 has closed. The Farmers Cooperative Scholarship Committee will notify scholarship recipients by March 15, 2024.

Nebraska Cooperative Council Education Foundation Scholarships

As a member of the Nebraska Cooperative Council, Farmers Cooperative patrons become eligible for this scholarship. Colleges included in the scholarship program are:

  • UNL College of Ag Sciences & Natural Resources - students majoring in agribusiness or agricultural economics 
  • Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture (NCTA) at Curtis - students majoring in agribusiness or ag production systems
  • UNK - upperclass students majoring in agribusiness 

Student eligibility is restricted to sons/daughters of a parent/legal guardian who has been an active member, director, or employee for at least the prior three years of Farmers Cooperative. Visit their website for more information.
