We offer our employees excellent benefits, competitive wages, experience at a successful, growing company and a family friendly culture.

Benefits include, but are not limited to:

  • Defined Benefit Pension Plan
  • 401k plan with company match
  • Medical and dental insurance coverage
  • Flex Dependent Care
  • Health Savings Account
  • Vision insurance
  • Holiday pay
  • Paid time off

Farmers Cooperative offers agricultural internships to college underclassmen. The goal of our intern program is to create value for the individual intern by helping further their knowledge and experience in agriculture.

In order to create a valuable experience, each intern is paired with a mentor from Farmers Cooperative to share their insights on our industry. We offer 12-week summer program at a variety of locations throughout our trade territory.

Through this internship, students learn how a department operates and gain understanding on how the cooperative functions as a whole. If the time of year allows, the student also attends training events, industry tours and a Farmers Cooperative facility tour.

Each mentor works with the intern to determine what they want to experience if the season and workload allows it. Farmers Cooperative understands the importance of youth in the agricultural industry and provides a positive experience each intern can take with them for the rest of their lives.
