Community Grant Program

Farmers Cooperative is proud to announce a new grant program aimed at supporting community initiatives across our trade territory. We are collaborating with our vendor partners CHS, CoBank, and Land O'Lakes Foundation to make a greater impact in our communities.

How It Works:

EligibilityApplication WindowReview & Notification
501(c)(3) public charities, schools, and units of government (municipalities)
January 1 - March 15, 2026Recipients will be notified by April 30, 2026.


Matching Funds:
Selected projects will be submitted to our vendor partners for potential matching contributions. If approved, recipients will receive a grant from Farmers Cooperative, plus an additional matching donation from a partner.

Matching funds are evaluated based on community impact, geographic reach, and partnership opportunities. All matching support is subject to fund availability.


Examples of Eligible Projects:

  • Community recreation improvements (parks, playgrounds, ballfields, pool projects, etc.)
  • 4-H clubs for community projects
  • Ag club or fairground improvements
  • Fire department emergency equipment
  • FFA chapters to support community/chapter projects
  • Community beautification 
  • Other initiatives that strengthen local communities
