Meet Kaden Bryant! This summer Kaden is an agronomy operations intern located in Hallam, NE.

Where are you from?
I am from Firth, NE, I originally grew up in Lincoln and moved to Firth about 4 years ago.

Where do you go to school and what are you studying?
I go to school at Fort Hays State University in Hays, KS and I am studying agronomy.

Why did you choose to be an intern with Farmers Cooperative?
I pretty much grew up around Farmers Cooperative, so I knew the name for the company and wanted to learn more about it and behind the scenes.

What are some of your day-to-day activities?
Most of my days include scouting fields and helping fill tenders when I get back from scouting fields.

What is one thing that you’ve learned so far this summer?
You never know everything, there’s always something new you could learn. Most of what I have learned is about identifying different types of weeds and how to best help farmers through the process of scouting fields.

What has been your favorite part of your internship thus far?
One of my favorite things is being able to work out in the fields and getting to see how everything is run in a cooperative system.

What is a fun fact about yourself?
I like to shoot trap competitively.

What would be your dream job, or what is a job you plan on pursuing post-graduation?
Post-graduation I plan on pursuing a job in field scouting, I really like being outside and have enjoyed scouting fields.
