Before You Buy Tires, Give Farmers Cooperative a Try

“Don’t buy until you give us a try.”

This quote is used by many businesses in every industry, but here at Farmers Cooperative, we truly mean it. Most tire companies use add-ons when a customer purchases a tire or a set of tires.

What do I mean by add-ons? Most companies add charges for mounting, balancing, and a road hazard warranty to the tire purchase. Here at Farmers Cooperative, the price you are quoted is the mounted price. The only additional fee will be the disposal charge, which covers the safe and legal disposal of your scrap or worn-out tires. As a tire dealer, we are legally required to use a licensed tire scrapper to properly dispose of any scrap or worn-out tires.

Additionally, you’ll notice a state-mandated fee: $1 per tire in Nebraska and $0.25 per tire in Kansas when purchasing new tires. Every tire business is required to charge this fee, which goes directly to the state for tire disposal initiatives. This money supports programs like Tire Amnesty Days and provides grants for research or new businesses focused on tire recycling or alternative disposal methods.

When you purchase a pair of new tractor tires from Farmers Cooperative, the price includes on-the-farm installation. We do not charge labor or a service call if you purchase a pair. The same applies to pivot tires when you purchase at least two. Most tire dealers will add extra charges when quoting prices for new ag tires, so make sure you’re asking the right questions when shopping around.

One final point I’d like to make about buying from Farmers Cooperative is that you do NOT need to be a member to purchase goods or services.

So please, before you buy, give us a try.

Thank you for your business, and have a great day.
