Farmers Cooperative Transitioning to SNL 87 Up to E-15 Gasoline

Feb 16, 2026

Farmers Cooperative will be transitioning our current SNL 87 E-10 gasoline to SNL 87 gasoline blended with up to E-15. This decision reflects our continued commitment to supporting the farmers and communities we serve.
E-15 is a gasoline blend containing up to 15% ethanol, compared to the 10% blend most commonly used today. It is approved for use in most cars, trucks, and SUVs model year 2001 and newer, which represents the majority of vehicles on the road. E-15 offers the same 87 octane rating drivers expect, while providing a cleaner-burning fuel option that can help reduce emissions and decrease reliance on petroleum.

For our cooperative, expanding to E-15 creates stronger demand for corn-based ethanol, directly investing back into our corn growers, owners, and producers. As a farmer-owned cooperative, decisions like this are made with our membership in mind. Increasing ethanol use strengthens local grain markets, adds value to every bushel, and keeps more dollars circulating within our rural economy.

SNL 87 up to E-15 will be available at all of our cardtrol locations and C-stores, with the exception of Dorchester. We may consider offering it in the future if the necessary system upgrades are completed to support higher ethanol blends at that location.

SNL 87 up to E-15 continues to deliver reliable performance while helping us build a stronger future for our cooperative and the producers who make it possible.

Keep an eye out for the new orange E-15 labels that will be going on our pumps soon.
