Get to know Abbie Milton, the marketing intern from Friend, Nebraska!
Abbie is studying Agribusiness at Northeast Community College.
Why did you choose to intern at Farmers Cooperative?
I chose to intern at Farmers Cooperative because I want to learn more about how a cooperative operates. Growing up around agriculture, I was interested in seeing the business side of the industry and how Farmers Cooperative supports local communities.
What has been the best part of your internship so far?
The best part of my internship has been the different projects I get to work on. Every day is something different. I have also enjoyed traveling to different locations and meeting people.
What are the day-to-day tasks in your role?
My day-to-day tasks include helping organize events and promoting Farmers Cooperative in many different ways. This includes organizing spreadsheets, communicating with employees, putting together materials to send to different locations, organizing summer parades, and helping with different marketing events.
What is your summer internship project?
My summer internship project is highlighting the interns and their roles within the departments.

I found out about the Farmers Cooperative internship through their website.
What is a fun fact about yourself?
I grew, picked, and sold sweet corn for 7 summers growing up!
