Get to know Alex Eltze, one of the drone operations interns from Crete, Nebraska!

Alex is studying Agricultural Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
 
Why did you choose to intern at Farmers Cooperative?
I chose Farmers Cooperative because it was close to home and is relevant to any future career opportunities.

What has been the best part of your internship so far?
So far, I have enjoyed getting to meet and work with all the guys around our location.

What are the day-to-day tasks in your role?
Day-to-day tasks include flying the drones and spraying pasture or crop fields, cleaning and clearing equipment, and placing soil probes.

What is your summer internship project?
My summer internship project is a presentation that summarizes my experience as a spray drone intern throughout the summer. It highlights the skills, knowledge, and responsibilities I developed while carrying out my daily tasks and contributing to field operations.

How did you find out about the Farmers Cooperative internship?
I found the Farmers Cooperative internship through Handshake, an online career platform that provides access to internships and job opportunities for college students.

What is a fun fact about yourself?
I have a twin.
