Get to know Caden Beck, one of the drone operations interns from Bennington, Nebraska!
Caden is studying Agricultural Science at Concordia University.
Why did you choose to intern at Farmers Cooperative?
I chose Farmers Cooperative to get the experience of working at an ag cooperative and see all the different parts of the company beyond just my focus.
What has been the best part of your internship so far?
The best part of my internship so far is getting to practice flying the drones and spraying our first pasture.
What are the day-to-day tasks in your role?
Day-to-day tasks include performing maintenance on our spraying equipment, assisting the agronomy team, and spraying fields.
What is your summer internship project?
My summer internship project is a presentation summarizing my experience as a spray drone intern throughout the summer. The project highlights the skills and responsibilities I developed while performing my day-to-day tasks.
How did you find out about the Farmers Cooperative internship?
I found out from a career fair and class presentations when I attended SCC.
What is a fun fact about yourself?
I like to go golfing in my free time.
