Intern Spotlight: Nolan Williams

Jul 10, 2025

Meet Nolan Williams, one of our drone operations interns this summer in Hallam, Nebraska.

Nolan is from North Bend, Nebraska, and is attending the University of Nebraska - Lincoln, majoring in Agribusiness. He anticipates graduating in May 2028.

Why did you choose to intern at Farmers Cooperative?
What stood out to me about Farmers Cooperative was the chance to work with drone technology and see how it’s used in agriculture.

Why did you choose this specific internship?
I think that drone operations is an interesting field, and I wanted to learn more about the new side of agriculture.

What has been the best part of your internship so far?
Spraying pastures with the drones has been the highlight so far; it’s been cool to see the technology in action.

What are you most excited about with your internship?
I’m hoping to meet some new people and spend a lot of time out in the corn fields doing hands-on work.

What are the day-to-day tasks in your role?
Most days start with getting the drones and trailer ready, then heading out to spray fields or pastures.

What are your plans for after graduation?
After graduation, I plan on returning to the farm and being part of the family operation.

Fun fact?
I have 3 sisters, one older and two younger.

We’re glad to have Nolan on board this summer and look forward to seeing the contributions he makes during his internship!
