Intern Spotlight - Tucker Bergen

Jul 14, 2024

Get to know Tucker Bergen! He’s from Henderson, NE, and is this summer’s agronomy operations intern out of Raymond, NE.

Tucker is majoring in Agribusiness at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln.

Why did you choose to intern with Farmers Cooperative and why did you choose agronomy operations?
I chose Farmers Cooperative because I heard good things about the internship program. Looking at going into ag sales after college, this agronomy internship seemed like a good place to start.

What has been the best part of your internship so far?
So far, it’s just been fun to learn everything that goes into the job.

Day-to-day activities in your role:
Day-to-day, I mostly just fill up trucks with chemical and water when they come through and whatever else I’m asked to help with.

Post-graduation Plans:
I’ll graduate in May of 2027, and I would like to pursue ag sales.

Fun Fact:
I like to deer hunt.
