Farmers Cooperative Donates To Local Food Banks

Farmers Cooperative held an employee food drive where over 1,000 pounds of food was collected. Farmers Cooperative matched employee contributions, along with a matching grant from Land O’Lakes. A total of over $10,000 was donated to local community food banks and backpack programs.

Organizations receiving donations include Beatrice Food Pantry, Blue Valley Community Action Inc. of Fairbury, Blue Valley Community Action Inc. of Seward, Dorchester Backpack Program, Friend Christian Assembly Food Bank, Harvesters Community Food Network, Norris Area Food Pantry, Raymond Central Public Schools backpack program, Syracuse Area Churches Food Pantry Inc., Tri County Public Schools backpack program, and Wymore Food Pantry
